For this project, I learned quite a lot of new things about Premiere Pro, including effects and animation. I learned how to create a freeze frame (I put one at the beginning and one right around the end), animate the text/title by using and adding key frames, create captions, create rolling credits, and how to change the speed of the video. However, I used "speed" to reverse one of the clips in the video (timeframe: 0:20 - 0:24). I also added an echo effect to the announcer's voice to make it sound like he's speaking into an actual microphone. Plus, I used the L cut at 0:10 - 0:13, where the announcer's voice is still heard but the video has visually moved to another clip. As for any difficulties, I think trying to control the volume was a little challenging, since sometimes the announcer's voice was a bit hard to hear because of the music, or the music was being overpowered by the narrator's voice. The same can go to the volume of the sound effects. Other than that, I found the rest of this to be fairly easy, especially creating the captions. Overall, this was a fun assignment to do because I got to add the clips together in the order I wanted them to, as well as add sound effects.

While working with video clips for this assignment, I had to find a way to seamlessly blend them together using transitions this time (and add royalty-free audio along with it). The theme of my video is supposed to be about ghosts, since I wanted to make it a bit spooky (it's because I like Halloween). However, what I found the most difficult about creating my video this time was trying to find the clips themselves. Some of them were either out of place, didn't fit what I was trying to find in the search bar, or just looked random. I also didn't want to stretch out the clips of the ghosts to fill up the 20 second duration, since I felt like that'd be a bit boring. Thus, I decided to find clips that were at least similar to wherever the ghosts were in the clips.
Examples:
To make it a bit more unique, I made each clip sync up to the beat of the audio (I trimmed some clips and used the "dip to fade" transition). I particularly like the flexibility it offers in terms of editing media files and adding effects and transitions. Overall, this was another fun video edit to make. For my first experience using Premiere Pro, I found it to be pretty fun. Though, there was at least one thing that I found "difficult." I was trying to find the Effects tab and well, I ended up closing all my panels while doing so.. somehow. Luckily, I managed to restore them after searching up how to do so. But, other than that, there isn't much else that I found difficult, since it's a pretty straightforward and easy software to use. For example, I found it easy to import and drag images into the timeline box and trim them, as well as create sequences. I also found layering and exporting to be easy as well. Overall, I think that I'm going to enjoy working with Premiere Pro because it's a very versatile editing software that allows for a wide range of possibilities and creativity. I also like editing in general, so that's a plus.
